A couple switcheroos are going down in NW: The Oregonian reports that restaurateur Annette Yang, who had originally planned to open a restaurant called the Old Country on SE Division, is now taking over the Noisette space to open an Old-World European spot called Le Vieux. (In late July, Noisette chef/owner Tony Demes placed his restaurant up for sale, announcing intentions to retire from the restaurant business.)
The O reports Yang and partner Brian Leitner will add a wood-burning hearth to the kitchen, and plan to open Le Vieux as soon as November. No word yet on Noisette's planned closing date; more information as it becomes available.
