Listen-up restaurateurs, delivery is the wave of the future. Especially delivery until 3 a.m.
Entrepreneurial genius Jessica Cooper knows this, and has launched Coops Cookies, a fresh-baked cookie delivery service that will bring you baby's head-sized cookies, plus Sunshine milk, soda, or Cellar Door coffee (and, ahem, lighters with a built-in bottle opener if you need it). Delivery is available Thursdays through Sundays from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. — prime munching time.
Portland Mercury restaurant critic Andrea Damewood has tested them out and declares "these babies are great." The triple-chocolate gets her highest score for its hint of salt. There's a rotating selection of flavors, and each cookie costs $3.25 to $3.75 with a $1 to $3 delivery fee.
