SOUTHEAST -- Previously of the three-Michelin-star The Restaurant at Meadowood and the two-Michelin-star Coi, baker Matt Tinder has come to the Northwest with plans to open Saboteur in Seattle, and this Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can get a preview of both his baked goods and the baked creations of Ken Forkish's forthcoming Trifecta Annex, set to be part of Pine Street Market. NORTHEAST -- According to a Pastaworks press release, Little T American Baker is the newest addition to NE Sandy's Providore Fine Foods, the forthcoming food complex led by Pastaworks. Little T's third location will be a kiosk selling pastries and artisan breads, and at Providore Fine Foods, it will join Flying Fish Co. and its meat-only spinoff, The Meat Monger; Emerald Petals; and Pastaworks' Italian-style rotisserie, Arrosto. NATIONAL -- After an overwhelming response to Portland Cocktail Week 2015, the Bar Institute will take many of the event's main attractions to five new cities in 2016. A three-day version of Cocktail Week will arrive in Austin, TX in February; Baltimore, MD in April; Phoenix, AZ in May; Miami, FL in August; and New York in October.
