SOUTHEAST — Oso Market + Bar's #AdventureBrunch series is back, at least for November. Every weekend in November, Oso Market's new chef Steve Lohse will serve Montreal brunches, with dishes like french toast with caramelized bananas and nutella; Montreal-style bagels with house-cured sockeye lox and crème fraiche; and pulled pork and poutine over house-baked fries.  [EaterWire]

SOUTHEAST — Sizzle Pie lent a helping hand to the Burnside Skatepark Benefit, raising $13,000 of the $40,000 need to renovate the skatepark, located beneath the Burnside Bridge. Sizzle Pie got assists from Oregon Screen Impressions, Shrunken Head Skateboards, See See Motorcycles, and EVO Portland, and it raised $5,000 alone by selling Burnside Benefit pizzas at its East and West Burnside Sizzle Pie locations.  [EaterWire]

PORTLAND — To simultaneously compete against Amazon and to sweeten the pot, Olympia Provisions is including a free salami with every sale of its brand-new cookbook, Olympia Provisions: Cured Meats and Tales from an American Charcuterie. You can order your cookbook and free salami here. [EaterWire]
