SOUTHEAST -- After moving from Eugene to Portland this spring, Red Duck Foods is launching a happy hour with its ketchup (no high fructose corn syrup or artificial preservatives, colors, etc.), plus tater tots and beer...  and it's free! Head to Bunk Sandwiches at 1028 SE Water Ave. on Wednesday, October 7, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (limited to one beer and round of tots per person). The Red Duck Foods happy hour will be held once a month at various locations.  [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN -- Located on SW Washington Street between 9th and 10th, the Kargi Gogo food cart is bringing the khachapuri trend to Portland with its new menu of four khachapuri, all of which cost between $7 and $9. A Georgian dish, khachapuri are breads built to hold cheese—a third of a pound each in Kargi Gogo's case—and the Acharuli khachapuri also comes topped with butter and a fried egg (of course).  [Oregonian]

DOWNTOWN -- Local roaster Ristretto Roasters is opening its fourth cafe, this time in the former Oregonian newspaper building at 1320 SW Broadway. The cafe will have a horseshoe bar and offer additional seating in the building's lobby. An opening date has not been announced. [Oregonian]
