DOWNTOWN -- Located on SW Washington Street between 9th and 10th, the Kargi Gogo food cart is bringing the khachapuri trend to Portland with its new menu of four khachapuri, all of which cost between $7 and $9. A Georgian dish, khachapuri are breads built to hold cheese—a third of a pound each in Kargi Gogo's case—and the Acharuli khachapuri also comes topped with butter and a fried egg (of course). DOWNTOWN -- Local roaster Ristretto Roasters is opening its fourth cafe, this time in the former Oregonian newspaper building at 1320 SW Broadway. The cafe will have a horseshoe bar and offer additional seating in the building's lobby. An opening date has not been announced. [Oregonian]
