Lovers of Connecticut clam pies and Detroit deep-dish have been watching Pizza Jerk closely, but is Pizza Jerk really ready to open? After a name change and multiple opening dates have come and gone, it seems it is: Pizza Jerk tells Eater it will officially open November 27, the day after Thanksgiving.
Tommy Habetz refuses to put Pizza Jerk's pizza style in a Neapolitan or New York-shaped box; in fact, Pizza Jerk will also serve pastas that merge Italian and Chinese personalities, plus fried rice and sandwiches.
