DOWNTOWN — Just which restaurants will open in the forthcoming Pine Street Market food hall at 133 SW Pine has become a bit of a Guess Who? game, but as the opening approaches and the O drops an update, this is the current lineup: Marukin, John Gorham's Pollo Bravoand Common Law by Patrick McKee (Paley's Place), as well as new concepts by The Country Cat, Salt & Straw, Barista, Olympia Provisions, and Trifecta bakery. NORTHWEST — Breakside Brewery will open its third location, a gastropub and brewing facility, next door to New Seasons at NW 22nd and Raleigh. The 5,000-square-foot brewpub with patio and rooftop beer garden aims for an early summer 2016 opening. [New School Beer]

PORTLAND — Again this year, Salt & Straw will serve the Congressman Blumenauer's Fruitcake ice cream flavor and donate all proceeds from the flavor to the Community Cycling Center to give kids bicycles.
