Smallwares 'Inauthentic Asian' Brunch Ends this Month

Sad news from the brunch world: Smallwares will serve its last brunch on December 27, 2015. Owner Johanna Ware launched her "inauthentic Asian" take on breakfast in October 2014, with a bloody mary involving kim chi and fish sauce and breakfast dishes like breakfast bao with sausage, a fried egg, and gravy. For brunch, the restaurant also serves several of its most popular menu items, including the coveted General Tso Chicken Sandwich from Ware's summer-long Lil'Wares pop-up. To get a final taste of the deliciousness, visit Smallwares 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until December 27.
