Opened yesterday at 404 SW 12th, the new downtown Bamboo Sushi SW is currently serving dinner nightly, and on January 4, it will start lunch, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. This is the sustainable-sushi-and-izakaya restaurant's first time doing lunch, and it will only be offered at its West End location. Check out the menu below: You'll be able to get all of it during lunch, aside from the happy hour portion.
The core of the lunch menu is the lunch combinations, which all come with miso soup, green salad, rice with furikake seasoning, and a variety of other items of your choice, from pieces of sushi to new izakaya dishes like chicken karaage and skewers of grilled pork belly. You can get all this delivered to your home or office through Postmates, too.
Another big change coming from Bamboo Sushi SW is that it's accepting reservations. On the website, the downtown location says, rather cryptically, "We accept limited reservations for all party sizes, both lunch and dinner. Please note that many of our guests choose to walk in and are sat on a first come, first served basis." So give it a shot by calling or reserving a table on OpenTable.
