Southeast's 14-seat fine-dining vegan and vegetarian restaurant Farm Spirit reports that it's taking a short break in January. "Our type of restaurant requires an intense amount of focus and creativity," chef Aaron Adams writes. "We want to take a moment to recharge our batteries and just play in the kitchen." Accordingly, beginning the week of January 4, 2016, Farm Spirit will close for two weeks, reopening the week of January 18.
In addition to planning winter menus, Adams and fellow chefs Richardo Perez and Timothy Dearing are developing new ways to share their food at Farm Spirit; for instance, they're currently working with Ryan Fox and Ali Matteis of Nomad.PDX for a potential collaboration dinner in late January.
