Chefs Sarah Bui and Anna Vocaturo, an alum of the white-hot Rose's Luxury restaurant in Washington, D.C., recently launched Doi Dua, their two-night-a-week Vietnamese pop-up, and two weeks in they're already expanding.
Beginning March 22, the duo will bring their pop-up to Langbaan on Sundays and Mondays from 5:30 to 10 p.m., though in April the schedule changes to Mondays only. "We will keep a few of our current menu items and transfer them over to our pop-up at Langbaan," says Vocaturo.
Meanwhile they'll continue popping up at Hogan's Goat Pizza on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, shifting the schedule one hour later to 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and introducing a brand-new menu. "We're keeping one or two of the current items at Hogan's, but once we start at Langbaan our menu at Hogan's will be limited to regional Vietnamese drinking snacks and cold beers," says Vocaturo.
Tonight and tomorrow, March 11, you can catch the current menu of Vietnamese salads, vermicelli bowls, and seafood-laden bun rieu soup at Hogan's Goat Pizza, 5222 N.E. Sacramento, Portland.
