Chopped, the Food Network's reality cooking competition, continues its near-weekly love affair with Portland tonight as yet another Rose City chef competes for the $10,000 prize. Last week Adam and Jackie Sappington of The Country Cat schooled the competition and brought home the bacon. Tonight it's Tapalaya chef Anh Luu's turn. In the "T.G.I. Fry-Day" episode, the New Orleans-born Vietnamese chef must create a deep-fried appetizer, entree, and dessert using hot dogs, taro root, cookies, and cube steak from the mystery baskets. Chopped airs tonight at 10 p.m. on the Food Network.
