It seems almost every cafe in town serves Water Avenue Coffee, which is why the 5-year-old roaster has just signed a lease on a new 4,000-square-foot roasting facility. The new warehouse at SE 8th and Main will have more roasting equipment so they can expand their wholesale business, but it will also house a new training lab. The warehouse is a few blocks from the flagship cafe on Water Avenue and SE Taylor, which, according to a press release, "will also be expanding and will undergo a remodel in the near future." Water Avenue hopes to have the new roastery up and running May or June of 2015.
