WINE NEWS — Wine Press Northwest has named Maryhill Winery the 2015 "Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year." The 16-year-old winery, located in the Columbia Gorge town of Goldendale, Washington, has earned more than 3,000 awards over the years, including 2014 Winery of the Year award at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.

MONTAVILLA — Chef Mirna Attar has launched a Lebanese-inspired brunch on weekends at Ya Hala Restaurant. Beginning March 21 and 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the brunch menu will include dishes like Moroccan fried chicken with couscous gratin, hand-rolled chocolate and halva croissants, and rosewater cocktails.
