Last month we got word that chef John Eisenhart had left downtown's Pazzo restaurant after 11 years to take over as executive chef at Nel Centro. Now Byron Beck at GoLocalPDX brings us news that chef Kenny Giambalvo will take his place at Pazzo.
It's actually a homecoming for Giambalvo, who first led the kitchen in the late 1990s before moving on to open Bruce Carey's Bluehour. His most recent post was as the executive chef at McMenamins Edgefield's Black Rabbit Restaurant, which he left last summer.
Pazzo Ristorante is located inside the newly renovated Hotel Vintage Portland.
