Ruby Jewel Opening Third Location on SE Hawthorne

OMG it'll be right next to Por Que No.

LRS Architects

After years of scooping up classic and seasonal ice creams and creative sundaes in North Portland and downtown, Ruby Jewel is at last opening an outpost in Southeast Portland. Best of all, its upcoming third scoop shop, set to open in July, is sandwiched between Por Que No and Apizza Scholls (two excellent yet dessert-poor restaurants) in the new mixed-used building dubbed The Hawthorne.

The development was designed by LRS Architects (who also designed Grant Park Village), and will feature a charred wood exterior. Ruby Jewel will occupy a 955-square-foot space on the ground floor, with outdoor seating and the full Scoop Shop menu, plus ice cream pints and ice cream sandwiches to go.
