Today is the big day for the Crisp salad bar, located at 3901 N Williams in the former Kenny & Zukes deli location. The creation of Emma Dye, Crisp has a quick, counter-service-style atmosphere for grabbing panini, wraps, soups, and entree-sized, build-your-own salads chopped to order.
But just because Crisp intends to prepare food quickly doesn't mean it expects you to eat quickly. Crisp is roomy, with a 40-seat dining room and 24-seat patio.
As the menu below shows, you can also order from its signature salads, such as the Vegan Caesar, featuring vegan Parmesan and polenta croutons. Crisp also makes its own food products for retail, such as its Kinky Kale chips.
Along with kombucha, Jones sodas, and Stumptown coffee, draft beers and keg wines will be served, because even healthy eaters need a tasty adult beverage from time to time.
According to the Crisp Facebook page, the restaurant will be open today form 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will serve lunch and dinner daily.
