Fueled by the need to keep up with pizza deliveries, Sizzle Pie opened a new location last week at 125 NE Schuyler St, a block north of Broadway. Now, you can order pizzas from Sizzle Pie beginning at 11 a.m.—formerly, deliveries began at 6 p.m.—and you can also get slices and brews on-site through a walk-up window. Slices from six rotating pies and beers from a 43-strong selection are available daily.
The new location is also a collaboration with Pine Street Biscuits, located next door. The most recent creations include the Gravy Digger veggie pizza, with a shitake mushroom gravy base, cheese blend, grit cake crumbles, vegan sausage, and green onion, and In Living Collard, with a white shallot bean spread base, collard greens, bacon bits, fried green tomatoes, tofu cheese, and Texas Pete hot sauce.
This is just the latest of several moves made by Sizzle Pie. Currently, the company is selling The White Owl; it is in the process of opening the Quality Bar attached to Sizzle Pie West; it is outfitting a Seattle location; and it is looking to expand to additional cities.
The Sizzle Pie walk-up window will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
