It's the last day of August, and Argyle Winery has opened its Tasting House, with indoor and outdoor spaces for tasting and learning about wine. Tasting House is located in the same place as Argyle's original winery and tasting room—one of Willamette's most popular tasting rooms—in Dundee Hills, and as the above images provided in a press release show, the new space is huge.
Built with the aid of SERA Architects and contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis, Argyle's Tasting House features all recycled concrete and steel, and it has loads of additional environmentally friendly features, including a garden designed by Cistus Nursery.
Inside, one part of the room has a wine library with over 4,000 bottles of Argyle wine, some dating to the winery's inception in 1987. To see it for yourself, visit any day of the week between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tasting House serves three different tasting flights, each costing $15.
