Over the years, owner Rebecca Elizabeth and her team at Hogan's Goat Pizza have developed a strong following for their pizzas, especially their gluten-free crusts, but today marks a sea change: Chef Jason Blair, who recently left the role of executive chef of NW 23rd's The Fireside, has taken over the business. Blair was chef de cuisine at The Woodsman Tavern, and he also helped to open Ava Gene's and Roman Candle.

Blair told Eater that Hogan's Goat Pizza will continue to serve pizza Friday through Sunday, and he intends to expand its hours as business grows. "I am planning on doing what I do best and sourcing and working with all the local farmers and purveyors that I have grown to love," said Blair. Hogan's Goat occupies a small space with a handful of tables in the Hollywood district.

The Hogan's Goat site will be a commissary kitchen during the day, said Blair.

"I am extremely excited about this new venture in my life," he said, adding that he'll release many more details soon.

Oh, and the name? Urban Dictionary can explain Hogan's Goat to you. It's too f***** up even for us.
