After keeping mum on her new menu, chef Erika Reagor is ready to show off what she'll be serving at Thrive Sauce and Bowls, located at 4641 NE Fremont in the former Alameda Cafe space. What's more, Reagor has announced that Thrive Sauce and Bowls will hold its grand opening on October 1, and the restaurant is offering a preview chef's tasting this Friday, September 25. There will be two seatings; tickets cost $20; and you can reserve them by calling the restaurant at 503-288-8365.
Offering casual, family-friendly dining, Thrive Sauce and Bowls will be a counter-service restaurant serving the hyper-seasonal, gluten-free bowls that Reagor's Thrive Pacific NW food cart is known for, as well as new appetizer and entree items. The bowls will now come in family-sized portions for sharing.
Vegetable-focused appetizers include African Spiced Beets, with toasted coconut, cashews, and lime, and all of the "Bigger Bites" come with your choice of protein; you can choose from organic tempeh, all-natural chicken breast, grass-fed hanger steak, all-natural pork belly, and sustainable fish.
