BUCKMAN -- Marthas cafe and bar opened inside Revolution Hall at 1300 SE Stark St. on September 8, and it's now open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Menu items include Spielman bagels, the New York Minute Breakfast Platter, sandwiches, and pizzas.
DOWNTOWN -- Serving frybread tacos, arepas, and other Southwestern foods, High Noon opened its doors on September 26 at 822 SW 2nd Ave. High Noon serves lunch, dinner, and late-night daily, and owners Aaron and Jessica Grimmer also own Barlow and The Picnic House.
DOWNTOWN -- The fourth Kure Juice Bar location landed at 408 SW 12th Ave on September 17 with a new hot food menu. It's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
DOWNTOWN -- Located next door to Sizzle Pie West, Quality Bar opened September 25, serving a full bar and Sizzle Pie slices. It's owned by Mikey McKennedy and Matthew Jacobson, who also own Sizzle Pie and formerly owned White Owl Social Club.
KERNS -- On September 10, the guys from the Old Gold bar opened Paydirt in The Zipper microrestaurant complex on NE Sandy. It has a 50-foot bar, Fernet on tap, and a healthy whiskey selection.
KERNS -- And in turn, The Zipper finally officially opened September 25, with Paydirt; Chickpeadx; Bywater Grocery; Slice Pizza; Rua; Seven Virtues Coffee Roasters at the Zipper; and the Finger Bang nail salon.
KERNS -- In a switcheroo, Chopsticks II abandoned its East Burnside location and reopened at 3390 Northeast Sandy Blvd on September 26. David Chow brought the well-known karaoke bar to Portland all the way back in 1995.
LENTS -- The 200-seat Zoiglhaus Brewing Company nows serves its German-inspired brews and pub fare at 5716 SE 92nd Ave. Alan Taylor serves as head brewer, and Marcus Zellmer heads the kitchen.
SOUTHEAST -- Located at 2500 SE Clinton St., the St. Jack spin-off La Moule opened September 21, delivering a Belgian mussels-bar atmosphere and a menu of Aaron Barnett dishes, from steak to chicken liver pâté.
SOUTHEAST -- Taylor Railworks, the restaurant from former Little Bird executive chef Erik Van Kley, opened at 117 SE Taylor St. on September 9. The 50-seat restaurant serves "borderless" American cuisine for dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
SOUTHEAST -- Located inside of the Breathe Building, Fern Kitchen brought healthy bowls and plates, grab-and-go items, and juice and coffee bars to 2311 SE 50th Ave. near Division on September 2.
ST. JOHNS -- Owned by Christopher Hopkins, Rana Albert, and Andy Boggs, Mama San Soul Shack opened September 10 with a Southern and Asian soul food mashup at 8037 N Lombard St.
EUGENE -- Chef Stephanie Kimmel of Marché opened Provisions Market Hall, formerly Marché Provisions, in downtown Eugene on September 10. The 10,000-square-foot space houses a cafe, bar, grocer, kitchenwares section, and a space for cooking classes.
MEDFORD -- Oregon got its very first In-N-Out Burger on September 9... but it's located four hours south in Medford.
