The World's 'Only Airport Distillery Tasting Room' Is Coming to PDX Airport

Portland International Airport just announced it's getting even more boozy with a forthcoming House Spirits Distillery retail space and tasting room. According to PDX airport, the House Spirits tasting room will be "the only airport distillery tasting room in the world," and while the exact tasting options haven't been released, you can expect to find House Spirits' catalogue of gin, aquavit, vodka, whiskey, and liqueurs for sale, in addition to branded glassware and clothing.

The new permanent House Spirits airport location will be adjacent to gate C2, and the estimated opening is mid 2016. House Spirits has operated an airport kiosk since 2013, and the local distillery is on a roll, having just opened the largest distillery in the city in November.
