The sophisticated Remedy Wine Bar, located at 733 NW Everett St. on the North Park Blocks, is closing at the end of the month, the Oregonian reports. Known for its hefty by-the-glass list with a focus on French and Oregon wines, Remedy Wine Bar opened June 2013, and it intends to reopen in a new, yet-to-be-announced location. In the news release, Remedy Wine Bar says it's closing due to the "pervasive camping in and around the park throughout summer and fall of 2015, and the related crime issues, that went largely unaddressed by the city." In September 2015, Glyph Cafe & Arts Space also closed on the North Park Blocks citing similar reasons.

Remedy Wine Bar will hold its final service January 30. The wine bar is owned by Michael Madigan, owner of Bowery Bagels and KitchenCru.
