Thanksgiving creeps up even on the best of us, but with this helpful intel, you can still find a restaurant with available reservations on Thanksgiving Day, top-notch pies made in time for your Turkey Day coma, and places offering takeout, if you don’t want to spend the whole day cooking. First, here are the Portland restaurants on the Thanksgiving Dining map that still have seats available on Thanksgiving Day, as of the time of publishing (expect peak dining times to be already reserved for the most part).
Where to Eat on Thanksgiving Day:
- Headwaters
- Andina
- Radio Room
- Bread & Ink Cafe
- Doug Fir (does not accept reservations, so show up and try your luck)
- Rum Club (for Thanksgiving cocktails, not food; no reservations required)
Also, The Original Dinerant and Urban Farmer tell Eater they are still accepting reservations, and The Benson’s London Grill says to sign up on its wait list for a somewhat good chance at getting a seat (a party had cancelled the moment before the concierge gave Eater the update).
