Sunshine Tavern, the SE Division restaurant owned by Jenn Louis, has been sold to new owners. “Sunshine has been sold and should transfer ownership around the week of the 15th,” Louis confirms. “As far as I know, it will be operating in a similar fashion for the time being. This will allow me to focus on Lincoln as my priority. I am very much looking forward to that.” The new owners of Sunshine Tavern are keeping their plans quiet for now.
Louis opened Sunshine Tavern in April 2011, and it has since gained a reputation for a gastropub vibe, replete with 14-foot shuffleboard table. Louis is best-known for her appearance on Top Chef Masters and for being named Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2012. At Lincoln, she serves a mix of seasonal small plates and Italian-style pastas. Louis is also currently in the process of opening a restaurant in Los Angeles.
