Eater photographer Dina Avila returns with the first photos of the interior of Pearl Tavern, the new steakhouse by Joey Harrington, the former football quarterback who played for the University of Oregon’s Ducks and the Detroit Lions.
Pearl Tavern takes over The Parish’s old home, at 231 NW 11th Ave., and while it retains several design elements — the long semi-circle bar, the black leather booths — the steakhouse has modernized the space, replete with several flatscreen TVs over the bar that’ll typically be tuned to sports.
The menu highlights seven cuts of steak with seven sauces, from bearnaise to chimicurri, and a variety of sides, including a bacon-wrapped baked potato. It also reveals a fleet of appetizers, salads, and entrees by Roscoe Roberson (opening sous chef at Racion; opening head chef at Cooper’s Hall), plus Ryan Magarian-designed cocktails. Sadly, the previously announced cheese curds have yet to appear. Take a look:
