PORTLAND—When you think of Dutch Bros. Coffee, you probably think of its roadside coffee kiosks, but now the largest privately held, drive-through coffee company in the nation says it wants to be a place where Portlanders hang out. Dutch Bros. has already opened a brick-and-mortar in the Lloyd District, and it will now open a second brick-and-mortar location on West Burnside. [Oregonian]
SOUTHEAST—Last Friday, the driver of an SUV drove right through one of the walls of the Stark Street Pub, the little bar out at 14270 SE Stark. The driver and one person inside of the bar suffered minor injuries, and alcohol was not necessarily involved. Instead, the police learned that another SUV, this one green, hit the SUV before it crashed into the bar. The green SUV fled the scene before police arrived, so if you know anything, call the police at 503-823-3333 (the reference number for the case is #16-48158). [GoLocalPDX.com]
