Southeast Division's B&T Oyster Bar will welcome the Jolie Laide pop-up restaurant to take over its chef's counter on Sunday and Monday nights, and according to the news release, it promises six and ten course menus. A pop-up to watch, Jolie Laide is operated by accomplished chef Vince Nguyen, who prepares vegetable-forward menus using hard-won modern and classical techniques. He's cooked alongside such culinary heavy hitters as former Castanga executive chef, Matt Lightner, and he also worked as sous chef at Daniel Patterson's two Michelin-starred Coi, in San Francisco.
Beginning March 13, Jolie Laide will take over B&T Oyster Bar's chef's counter for Sunday lunch. It will offer one seating at 1 p.m. and serve a six-course menu for $55 per person. Jolie Laide will also serve ten-course dinners at B&T on Sundays and Mondays, with seatings at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. The dinners cost $80 per person. Aside from Jolie Laide's offerings, B&T Oyster Bar will be closed Sundays and Mondays.
