BALLARD—Eater broke the news in January that former New York restaurateur power couple Alex and Kevin Pemoulie had returned to Alex's native Seattle to open Mean Sandwich, either in Ballard or Wallingford. Now Eater has confirmation the Momofuku alums have decided on Ballard, but their future home is currently occupied by another business, and the Pemoulies cannot release the address yet. Find some menu details over this way.

HILLMAN CITY—Chef Sam Choy's Poké To The Max food truck announced it will open a permanent location in Hillman City in May. The Hawaiian food business, run by celebrity chef Choy and partner Max Heigh, may also branch out with locations in Kirkland, West Seattle, and Ballard, later this year. Choy's food trucks will stay in the rotation, serving places like the South Lake Union neighborhood and Chuck's Hop Shop. Eater Seattle has more details on what you can expect from the menu.

EATER MAPS—Whether steamed, boiled, pan-fried, or even deep-fried, dumplings are an international sensation. Seattle, with its many Asian influences, is lucky enough to have a wealth of the doughy delights, hailing from China and Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam, even Tibet. Eater Seattle has dipped and devoured its fair share of dumplings to present you with the pick of the city's top shops.
