We spoke with Tea Bar's Erica Indira Swanson by phone recently, and she confirms that she'll indeed be soon opening a Tea Bar location at 4330 SE Division Street sometime this spring.

The new space, located across the street and a block east from Woodsman Tavern, will be a 40-seater (with an additional 10 to 20 seats corralled in an outdoor courtyard) that will feature the same white-walled aesthetic found at Tea Bar's original NE Killingsworth locationbut this time it will be even brighter, thanks to wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows.

New menu items expected to debut there include Tea Bar's own premium organic vanilla matcha, organic sparkling lavender-lemonade, golden milk lattes (with turmeric), tea Toddies made with lemon, ginger, cayenne, and Bee Local Honey, and a peppermint-hibiscus herbal tea.

Swanson said her southeast shop will also carry Nuvrei pastriesmaking her business one of only two to sell baker Marius Pop's goodies outside of his own brick-and-mortar shop.

Swanson is shooting for a May opening.

Stay tuned.
