A fourth Coco Donuts is poised to open mid-April, this time at 33 N Skidmore St., just off North Williams Avenue. Coco Donuts stands out from the crowded Portland doughnut scene for both making its own doughnuts and roasting its own coffee, and the Portland-based chainlet is owned by Prak Khou, Thevy Hul, and Ian Christopher (Christopher is also in the process of opening Americano with tiki bar master Blair Reynolds).

Speaking of the North Williams location, Christopher says he'll continue to offer seasonal doughnuts and drinks, and the fourth Coco Donuts will introduce new food items down the road. These include savory filled croissants, like ham and cheese and guava and cream cheese. He also says you'll be able to find new coffee and tea-based drinks as things progress.

"The Williams location is one of our prettiest build-outs to date, with lots of custom wood and metal work," says Christopher, who's overseen the design at all Coco Donuts' locations. No opening date has been released, but when it opens, the fourth Coco Donuts will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the potential to stay open later Thursday through Saturday.
