Since opening to wild applause last May, Renata has served Italian pastas, pizzas, and entrees at 626 SE Main, and now, it's launching a uniquely Italian tradition: aperitivo, an Italian-style happy hour. From 4 to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, find a menu of Italian street food dishes and drink specials (see the full menu below), and the whole thing kicks off tomorrow, April 1.
Some of the street food dishes on the aperitivo menu may be familiar, like the deep-fried olives with Calabrian chili oil and arancini in pork ragu, while others are brand new, like the mozzarella panzerotti, deep-friend pockets stuffed with cheese and served with marinara sauce for dipping. Aperitivo will available in the bar area only-with the full menu also be on hand for ordering. The aperitivo launch corresponds with a new menu of spring cocktails, too.
