MONTAVILLA—Townshend's Tea Company's fourth Portland teahouse is now softly open in Montavilla, at 7940 SE Stark, operating from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Dubbed Montavilla Teahouse, it serves the company's carefully crafted loose-leaf teas, and once in full swing, it will stay open daily till 10 p.m., likely beginning the second week in May.
The opening corresponds with the local tea company's 10 year anniversary, which means now is an especially good time to find discounts on Townshend's teas. You can also eat Bunk sandwiches and drink $5 cocktails made with sister-company Thomas & Sons Distillery spirits at the Pop-Up Cocktail Party this Friday, April 29, at Townshend's Mississippi location.
