It was only 18 months ago that Erica Indira Swanson opened her first Tea Bar on Northeast Killingsworth Street.
Now she has a second, newly opened, brightly lit spot on SE Division Street across the road from The Woodsman Tavern.
Swanson says the menu at Tea Bar Division will remain largely the same. Think matcha made with a wide variety of infusions (including the always popular vanilla), boba teas made with Taiwanese tapioca peals that are made fresh each day, and pastries courtesy of Nuvrei, are delivered fresh every morning.
However, this version of Tea Bar comes with a few firsts, too, including new flavors of soda-inspired sparkling tea drinks (like sparkling lavender lemonade), a courtyard just off Division with seating for 10 to 20, and—coming soon—mimosas.
Swanson says she and her team and also developing fun drinks for Tea Bar's summer menu, which will launch in the coming weeks.
