Previously of San Francisco's two-Michelin-starred Coi and Portland's Castagna, chef Vince Nguyen is kicking off three special Jolie Laide pop-up collaboration dinners this June, with help from some all-star and up-and-coming chefs: Andrew Mace and Nora Antene, who recently departed Le Pigeon; Trevor Moran, formerly sous chef at Copenhagen's world-famous Noma; and Nick Muncy, pastry chef at Coi.
Nguyen's Jolie Laide pop-up has been operating inside of B&T Oyster Bar, the SE Division seafood restaurant that houses Roe, since March, and now, the pop-up appears ready for the big time: taking over Roe, the precise, critically acclaimed fine-dining seafood restaurant from repeat James Beard Award nominee, Trent Pierce.
Jolie Laide's collaboration pop-ups with these powerhouse chefs will taken place June 6, June 7, and June 27. Each dinner costs $150 for 10 courses with wine pairings by Holden Wines and Stratera Cellars (tickets available here).
