DOWNTOWN—Seats for the DaNet pop-up by Vitaly Paley (Paley's Place, Imperial) sell out fast, so if you want to get a taste of the incomparable chef's Russian dishes, grab these just-announced reservations by calling Imperial at 503-228-7222. DaNet will pop up inside of the Portland Penny Diner June 11; July 16; and August 20. All reservations are for 6:30 p.m., and dinner costs $75, with optional $25 pairings. For each meal, the diner dining room is transformed with Paley's own family heirlooms and Russian music—even Russian is spoken. [EPDX]

NE ALBERTA—The Basque Supper Club will hold its first pop-up dinner inside of the former Natural Selection restaurant venue this June 18 and 19. Chef Javier Canteras will serve modernist versions of the Northern Spanish dishes he grew up with. And this is the first opportunity to visit the future home of Urdaneta, Canteras's forthcoming tapas and wine bar. Get tickets by following this link. [EPDX]
