Today's the grand opening for Lake Oswego's 365 shop, the Whole Foods family's smaller, leaner, slicker kid sister store. And it's opening with a pair of healthier casual food restaurants, too: Next Level Burger and Canteen.
Next Level Burger's Matt de Gruyter says his new—and third overall—restaurant will stick with the same menu that its Portland shop offers, so expect plant-based burgers, salads, raw juices, and non-dairy milkshakes. Today, it opens at 9 a.m., but going forward, NLB will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with weekend breakfasts lasting till noon.
Unlike NLB, Canteen will offer a menu that's much slimmer than the one at its Portland headquarters, but owner Brian Heck says his new vegan-friendly outpost will offer a new line of steamed juices, along with familiar Canteen staples like smoothie bowls, oatmeal, and a walnut taco salad. It will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
