It's nice to know that the second, the absolute second, a restaurant closes on SE Division, a new spot will take its place. The popular frozen yogurt shop Eb & Bean is opening its second location at 3040 SE Division St., PoMo reports. The announcement comes just days after KOi Fusion shuttered its DStreet brick and mortar in the same location.

Along with its frozen yogurts, Eb & Bean has been wooing Portlanders away from dairy-based ice creams since opening on NE Broadway in 2014. Its frozen yogurt waffle cones, sundaes, and cookie sandwiches are handmade, organic, and probiotic-rich (this last bit is according to the shop). SE Division can prepare for the everyday standard flavors—vanilla, chocolate, and tart—along with rotating special flavors like guava lime coconut and a huge selection of toppings, from local honey and candied ginger, to Pinkleton's salted vanilla caramel corn.

Eb & Bean SE Division isn't ready to release an official launch date but is aiming for an October opening. The new location will pretty much mirror its current offerings, but PoMo does mention a few additions:

The new space will add a few more seats, nitro cold brew and kombucha on tap, and (most importantly come summer) shared patio space with Bollywood.
