Jackknife Holds Women’s March on Washington Brunch Fundraiser

Jackknife, the glitzy craft cocktail bar inside downtown’s Sentinel Hotel, is doing a $15 buffet-style brunch this Saturday, January 21, and all proceeds will go to the Women’s March on Washington. In addition to the buffet, Jackknife will serve mimosas and bloody marys, as well as its usual cocktail menu.

The brunch is open to everyone, and goes from 10 a.m. to noon. Noon is when the local march, the Women’s March on Portland, begins in Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

Here’s what’s on the menu:

Vegetable Hash: fingerling potatoes, asparagus, gold beets, onion, apple, herbs

Pork Hash: pork, fingerling potatoes, rutabaga, carrot, onion, herbs

Grilled Avocado Toast, with garnish station

Oatmeal, with toasted pecans and blueberries

Scrambled Eggs & Bacon

Jackknife opened in 2014, and it has since earned a reputation as one of Portland’s quintessential cocktail bars. If you head over, don’t miss the photo booth in the back room to mark the occasion.
