Top Chef Calls You to Try Out for Season 15

Currently in the midst of Season 14, Bravo’s Top Chef is looking for Portland chefs to compete in next year’s edition. The casting call is now live on the official Top Chef website, and Portland auditions will take place at Departure Restaurant again this year, on January 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The casting is by appointment only, so if you’re ready to compete for the glory of the title of America’s Next Top Chef, email topchefcasting@magicalelves.com asap. Portland chefs Gregory Gourdet, Doug Adams, and BJ Smith have all appeared on the show, with Gourdet making it to the final round of Season 12, only to be beaten by chef Mei Lin.

In other words, the gage has been thrown. It’s time to bring the title of America’s Next Top Chef to Portland.

Top Chef debuted in 2006, and it has since become the poster child for televised chef-on-chef cooking shows. It has won an Emmy and a James Beard Award, and Bravo reports viewership of the current season, Season 14, is up four percent.
