Atlas Pizza’s Johnny Ricci and Eli Johnson are aiming to open a new 35-seat pizza parlor at 701 N Killingsworth Street, right next door to Portland Community College’s Cascade campus.

Ricci told Eater that he and Johnson say that the opening menu on Killingsworth will mirror the menu at their SE Division Street location, but adds they’ll push slices, as well as healthy alternatives like grab-and-go salads and possibly mezza platters for bustling college students taking short pit stops between classes and for Jefferson High School students on lunch break.

The Killingsworth location will also lean on the aesthetics of Ricci and Johnson’s original location, so expect a diverse music playlist, local art, four rotating pinball machines, a couple of tabletop video games (if they can score some), and a pair of TVs that will screen games when they’re scheduled and old movies when they’re not.

Beer, wine, and local sodas will be available to wash those slices down.

Atlas on Killingsworth will also deliver, both for lunch and for later. At present, Ricci is trying to dial in the delivery zone, but he says it will include Swan Island, where the laborers are many but the food options are few.

If their Is and Ts get properly dotted and crossed, Ricci says he and Johnson plan to open the doors in mid-March.

Atlas Pizza Northeast: 701 N Killingsworth St.; Tentative opening hours: 11 or 11:30 a.m. till 10 p.m., daily
