Olympia Provision’s hot dog and sausage-focused spinoff, OP Wurst, has added weekend brunch at its Southeast Division location. Brunch is now served Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 3384 SE Division St.
Speaking with Eater, OP Wurst executive chef Victor Deras says there are a handful of new brunch options, as well as the classic Portland pastime of adding an egg to pretty much anything. Fans of Olympia Provision’s deep-fried Monte Cristo at Feast’s Brunch Village should be on the lookout for the new breakfast sausage that’s wrapped in a pancake and then deep-fried.
“It’s a play on pigs in a blanket only with a griddle pancake,” says Deras. “Imagine a pancake corndog.”
Other brunch plates include a hot dog topped with scrambled eggs, a hash made with OP Wurst house fries, and a breakfast burrito featuring house-made, chorizo-like sausage. The bar will deliver the breakfast cocktails. Here’s the new opening-day brunch menu:
