New downtown English breakfast and lunch spot, Kingsland Kitchen, has given Eater the first look at its food and drink menus. The menus feature the already popular English breakfast from its food cart days, as well as rare British specialities, like a bacon-wrapped naan roll.
“I’m putting a spin on the whole British food thing,” says chef Chris Payne, who hails from England and owns and operates Kingsland Kitchen with his wife and partner, Holli Payne. “The UK is multicultural. Kingsland isn’t a teahouse.”
For its English breakfast, Kingsland Kitchen uses “proper back bacon” and prepares black pudding and sausages in-house with the goal of offering the most “authentic” version in the city. Several new dishes have also landed on the menu, including the Double Decker Burger and Spicy Fried Chicken Burger.
The Kingsland Kitchen brick and mortar also comes with a full bar setup, adding cocktails, beers, and wines. Happy hour delivers several deals for sampling the new restaurant, including a $7 Single Decker Burger and $4 hand-cut pub fries. Happy hour runs 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Without further ado, here are the Kingsland Kitchen food and drink menus for breakfast, lunch, Saturday brunch, and happy hour:
