According to a press release, the first Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Oregon will open its doors at 6:00 a.m. on April 17, to serve its Southern-inspired all-day breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner. The latest Cracker Barrel will take up residence in a 10,000-plus-square-foot space in Tualatin’s Nyber River shopping center, at 7415 SW Nyberg St., and it comes at a time when the internet is mad as hell at the franchise.

The cause of the online outrage is the recent firing of an Indiana employee, better known as “Brad’s wife” thanks to the hashtag #JusticeForBradsWife. Cracker Barrel let the employee go, and Brad posted an angry note to the franchise’s Facebook page in February, asking why it chose to end his wife’s employment. The internet has been abuzz with condemnation ever since.

Along with the opening date, Cracker Barrel’s press release confirms it has plans to open three more Portland-area restaurants. These include the previously announced locations in the Jantzen Beach Center and on Canyon Road in Beaverton. The chain currently has more than 630 restaurants spread across the U.S.
