Set in the Northwest, the cult television series Twin Peaks officially marks its long-awaited return this Sunday, and you can celebrate in a number of ways besides sipping coffee in a room with red curtains, a zigzag-print carpet, and a dwarf in a red suit who talks backwards. For instance, this Saturday, you can eat free Twin Peaks-themed doughnuts at any Voodoo Doughnut location in the U.S., between noon and 5 p.m.
Here’s a rundown on the new flavors (pictured below):
- The Red Room: vanilla-frosted yeast shell filled with Bavarian cream
- The Bookhouse Boys: vanilla-frosted yeast shell filled with chocolate Bavarian cream and coffee extract
- The Black Lodge: chocolate-frosted yeast shell with cherry filling
- The White Lodge: vanilla-frosted yeast shell with cherry filling
Voodoo Doughnut has four Portland locations: the flagship destination downtown, the other full-fledged shop at 1501 NE Davis St., and the food truck in the Cartlandia pod on Southeast 82nd Avenue.

By the looks of this photo on the Twin Peaks Facebook page, this won't be Kyle MacLachlan's — Special Agent Dale Cooper's — first Voodoo Doughnut rodeo.
