A press release brings word of Happy Valley Public House, a massive, 22,000-square-foot Happy Valley development, and several well-known Portland restaurateurs have signed on: Bunk Sandwiches, Pizza Jerk, and Mi Mero Mole, plus a concept called The Whiskey Kitchen. Besides delivering the first Pizza Jerk expansion, the mixed-use space will also be home to a TBD cafe serving Lauretta Jean’s pastries and pies and a private dining space for events that can be rented out.
Happy Valley Public House breaks ground July 16, at 12960 SE 162nd, with no word yet as to when it aims to open. The new project comes from Ami and Brian Shannon, owners of Valley Growlers Neighborhood Taphouse, who will establish their second Valley Growler location at the complex.
The final piece of the puzzle at present is that all of the onsite restaurants will serve brunch on weekends, with drinks by Valley Growlers, and the venue will have three decks, dog-friendly areas, fire pits, live music, and lawn games. Look here for more details here on Eater as they develop.
