Too Lazy to Drive to McDonald’s? The Franchise Now Delivers

Today, McDonald’s announced by press release that many of its most popular items are now available for delivery in Portland through UberEats, Uber’s food delivery service app. The ubiquitous McDonald’s franchise has offered delivery in other countries, but it only recently brought the option to the U.S. In May, it expanded its reach to 1000 McDonald’s, with a focus on Los Angeles, Chicago, and Phoenix. It also rolled out in Seattle earlier in June.

In Portland, 66 McDonald’s locations now do delivery. To get those fries and burgers on your doorstep, download the UberEats app on a smartphone and navigate to McDonald’s to place an order. In addition to the food, the delivery fee should be around $5.

But note not every menu item may be available: The O took the app for a test run during its trial week and couldn’t order soft serve ice cream cones or dollar menu items.
