Blue Star Donuts Is Finally Headed to Beaverton

It started in Portland in 2012 and has since opened locations in Los Angeles and a spin-off in Tokyo, and now, Blue Star Donuts is headed to Beaverton, a press release divulges. The gangbusters gourmet doughnut chain with flavors like blueberry bourbon basil and cointreau creme brulee will set up at Progress Ridge Townsquare, among the mall’s other food offerings, like Little Big Burger and Pho Nam, near Cinetopia Theater. No opening date has been announced.

Blue Star Donuts Beaverton says it’ll serve the shop’s usual lineup of doughnuts, along with its house coffee, roasted by Coava Coffee. The homegrown chainlet is owned by Katie Poppe and Micah Camden (Boxer Ramen, Little Big Burger), and in the release, Poppe says, “There have been so many requests over the past few years from fans in Beaverton and Tigard, it’s been a dream of ours that’s now finally a reality. To all the fans responsible for all those emails and not-so-subtle hints over the years, we heard you.”
