Vancouver’s culinary scene continues to grow as two new restaurants prepare to open at The Waterfront, a new business development on the Columbia. Pizzeria sul Lago, the new Italian restaurant from P.R.E.A.M.’s Nick Ford, will open its second location in Washington this spring, joining Tacoma-based chain Stack 571 Burger & Whiskey Bar.
Pizzeria sul Lago will take on more than 3,000 square feet across from Waterfront Park, the new esplanade within the development — that means river and park views, with plenty of outdoor seating. Like the original restaurant on Lake Oswego, Washington’s Pizzeria sul Lago will serve char-speckled pizzas, pastas, and salads. However, the Vancouver location will also have a full bar — its southern sibling sticks to beer, wine, and bottled cocktails.
The massive, billion-dollar-plus development now has six restaurants and bars on its roster, including Maryhill Winery and the now-open Wildfin American Grill. These two restaurants are a part of the second phase of development, which should be set by spring 2019. Stay tuned for more information about the restaurant’s new location, menu, and more.
